At Petsakes Pet Supplies and Grooming, we do away with the mess and stress with our self-service pet wash in Altoona, IA. Our raised bathtubs accommodate dogs as tiny as a Maltese, and as big as a Rottweiler. Our helpful, well-informed crew are glad to address any questions you may have.

ONLY AT OUR ALTOONA LOCATION.

Our stations are first come, first serve. The last wash is an hour before closing. Our hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 7pm, Sat 8am - 6pm, and Sun 8am - 3pm.

I take my 2 dogs to Petsakes to get groomed by Laura. It is nice to be greeted at the door when you go in and ask for any help finding anything. When it get to the grooming area, Laura is usually there waiting for us. I do not need to say my name she knows my dogs and I by name. My dogs have serious anxiety and she is the only one that has not had issues grooming them. They enjoy seeing Laura. Thanks for all the good work!
